Every work is born here: a sheet of paper, a pencil, and the place still in the eyes. The drawing comes all at once, after days when nothing does; the sheet keeps that moment. Everything that follows, the study, the sails, the masts, the setting up, grows from it.

These drawings are shown as they are, at the size of the sheet. Each belongs to a place; its name leads to the project.
